Degree Requirements 

• Standard CONS Program (39 credits, 2-3 yrs)
• Dual Degree CONS and Public Policy Program (60 credits, 3 yrs)
• Masters International Program between CONS and the Peace Corps (39 credits, 8 of which can be granted for Peace Corps experience)

Table of requirements for the standard MS CONS program and the Dual Degree Program. The Masters International Program follows the same requirements as the standard MS CONS program with up to 8 of the elective credits coming from the Peace Corps experience.

Missed the graduation deadline? You may not have to register for another semester if you can finish before the next semester starts. 

Registration Requirements For Graduation- Approved by Graduate Council November 19, 2003

A graduate student who has submitted the diploma application on time may graduate in the following semester without additional registration, even if another required deadline was missed, if the conditions listed below are met prior to the first day of classes of the following semester:

1. All remaining academic requirements for graduation have been fulfilled.
2. All required administrative documents have been submitted.

If any document is submitted on or after the first day of classes of the following semester, which is the semester of graduation, one credit of registration will be required. No exceptions will be permitted to this policy.
